    Jennifer is a nationally recognized expert in human trafficking prevention, survivor advocacy, and trauma-informed policy and education, with more than 20 years of experience working across government, nonprofit, and international contexts.

    Jennifer is a nationally recognized expert in human trafficking prevention, survivor advocacy, and trauma-informed policy and education, with more than 20 years of experience working across government, nonprofit, and international contexts. She previously served for a decade as Director of Human Trafficking Outreach and Education for the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, where she led the statewide and national initiatives focused on child trafficking prevention, victim protection, and systems reform, and chaired that statutorily appointed Human Trafficking Advisory Board.  

    Jennifer has trained law enforcement, prosecutors, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals in the U.S. and internationally, and has advised on policy development, victim services, and cross-sector collaboration. She is a Rotary Peace Fellow and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation from Makerere University in Uganda. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Magenta Girls Initiative, an international nonprofit supporting vulnerable girls and women through education, psychosocial support, and prevention programming. Her work integrates policy leadership, trauma-informed practice, and survivor-centered approaches to advance justice and community resilience.
